East Webster Wolverines (Maben, MS) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Wolverines (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Kemper County (DeKalb, MS). The Wildcats come into the Class 2A Region 4 challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Kemper County lost by Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats play the East Webster Wolverines (Maben, MS) in a Class 2A Region 4 test, on Thursday, September 4. Kemper County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Wolverines come into the outing with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Velma Jackson (Camden, MS).
