In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Evanston Wildkits volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Highland Park Giants.

The Wildkits (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Neuqua Valley achieved victory over Batavia (Batavia, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Giants now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fenton for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Highland Park will face a Bison squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Bison record now stands at 4-5.
