The Gainesville Red Elephants volleyball squad (Gainesville, GA), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Milton Eagles (Milton, GA)

The Eagles (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Creekside (Fairburn, GA). The Seminoles enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record.

Next, the Red Elephants battle the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 6. Gainesville will attempt to move on its 12-7 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 13-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Monroe Area (Monroe, GA).
