North Carolina High School Volleyball - SouthLake Christian Academy crushed by Gaston Christian

In Thursday's league bout, the Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC) volleyball team knocked off the visiting SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles (Huntersville, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

The Eagles now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Carolina Day for a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. Gaston Christian will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, SouthLake Christian Academy drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC) to clash with the Indians in a NCISAA Metrolina Athletic bout on Friday, September 5. The Indians enter the match with a record of 5-8.
