In Thursday's league challenge, the host Glendale Adventist Cougars volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Hillcrest Christian Saints.

The Cougars (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against San Gabriel Academy (San Gabriel, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, San Gabriel Academy edged La Sierra Academy (Riverside, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Saints meet the Santa Clara Saints (Oxnard, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Hillcrest Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
