Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons (Tyngsborough, MA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Whittier RVT Wildcats (Haverhill, MA), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Greater Lowell Tech improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Gryphons travel to Dracut (Dracut, MA) to encounter the Middies in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Middies go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Wildcats now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mystic Valley Regional for a Commonwealth Upper test on Monday, September 8. Whittier RVT will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Innovation Academy (Tyngsborough, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
