North Carolina High School Volleyball - SouthWest Edgecombe over Greene Central

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC) and the visiting Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC), observed SouthWest Edgecombe's volleyball team top Greene Central by a count of 3-0.

The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC). The Warriors enter the Three Rivers 4A contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Eastern Wayne was knocked off by North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Rams now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tarboro for a Eastern Plains 2A/3A battle on Tuesday, September 9.
