Veritas Academy Gryphon (Savannah, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Heritage Christian Academy Eagles (Brunswick, GA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Veritas Academy improves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Gryphon travel to Alleluia Community (Augusta, GA) to face the Angels in a GAPPS DI-A Region 4 test on Friday, September 5. The Angels go into the test with a record of 10-1. Alleluia Community won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Grovetown (Grovetown, GA)

Next, the Eagles meet the Savannah Classical Academy Spartans (Savannah, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Heritage Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Dublin (Dublin, GA).
