Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) and the visiting Houston Hilltoppers (Houston, MS), observed Mooreville's volleyball team top Houston by a count of 3-0.

The Troopers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Nettleton (Nettleton, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Nettleton notched a victory over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Hilltoppers meet the Amory Panthers (Amory, MS) in a Class 4A Region 2 contest, on Thursday, September 11. Houston will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record.
