In Thursday's league bout, the Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA), by a margin of 3-0.

The Olympians now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Northwestern Lehigh for a Colonial bout on Monday, September 8. Jim Thorpe will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lehighton (Lehighton, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Palmerton drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Blue bombers host Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA) to clash with the Spartans in a Colonial bout on Monday, September 8. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 2-0.
