Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Kecoughtan Warriors (Hampton, VA), 3-0 in a league outing.

The Wolverines now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Warwick for a Peninsula outing on Tuesday, September 9. Woodside will play a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Menchville (Newport News, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Kecoughtan drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Hampton (Hampton, VA) to play the Crabbers in a Peninsula game on Tuesday, September 9. The Crabbers go into the game with a record of 2-2. Hampton won 3-0 in their recent league game against Denbigh (Newport News, VA)
