North Carolina High School Volleyball - Kings Mountain over North Gaston

September 4, 2025: Kings Mountain, NC 28086

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Kings Mountain Mountaineers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the North Gaston Wildcats.

The Mountaineers (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Raptors enter the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Mountain Island Charter beat Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) in a Big South 5A/6A challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. North Gaston will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Red Raiders go into the test with a 7-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Crest (Shelby, NC).
