The Lake Cormorant volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Olive Branch Conquistadors to 0 in the league triumph on Thursday.

The now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hutchison for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Lake Cormorant will clash with a Sting squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to St. George's (Collierville, TN). The Sting record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Olive Branch drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Conquistadors travel to Grenada (Grenada, MS) to clash with the Chargers in a Class 6A Region 1 bout on Thursday, September 11. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 6-6.
