The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Le Mars Bulldogs to 0 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now have a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Heelan Catholic for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 9. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will confront a Crusaders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Harlan (Harlan, IA). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-4.

The Bulldogs (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA). The Yellowjackets go into the Missouri River game with a 4-11 record. In their last game, Jefferson was topped by Underwood (Underwood, IA), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
