The South Johnston Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Trojans league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Princeton for a non-league game on Monday, September 8. South Johnston will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.

The Yellow Jackets (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Harnett Central (Angier, NC). The Trojans go into the Carolina Pines 6A game with a 8-2 record.
