The Somonauk Bobcats edged the host Leland Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 8. Somonauk will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Clippers go into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL).
With the loss, Leland drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Christian Life (Rockford, IL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, September 5. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-1. Christian Life lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL)
