The Malad Dragons topped the visiting Sugar-Salem Diggers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Dragons now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host West Side for a 3A South East Idaho outing on Wednesday, September 10. Malad will play a Pirates team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Firth (Firth, ID). The Pirates record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Sugar-Salem drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Diggers travel to American Falls (American Falls, ID) to confront the Beavers in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 9. The Beavers enter the match with a record of 0-2.
