The Maranacook Black Bears volleyball squad (Readfield, ME), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting North Yarmouth Academy Panthers (Yarmouth, ME)

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Black Bears meet the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) in a Class C contest, on Saturday, September 6. Maranacook will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
