Nebraska High School Volleyball - Maywood/Hayes Center can't get by Southwest

Southwest Roughriders (Bartley, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves (Maywood, NE), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Southwest improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Roughriders host Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] (Eustis, NE) to face the in a test on Tuesday, September 9. The go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against South Loup (Arnold, NE)

Next, the Wolves meet the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Maywood/Hayes Center will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE).
