The Milaca Wolves topped the host Pierz Pioneers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Wolves face the Albany Huskies (Albany, MN) in a Granite Ridge game, on Tuesday, September 9. Milaca will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Huskies go into the game with a 5-1 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN).

The Pioneers (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Foley (Foley, MN). The Falcons go into the Granite Ridge game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Foley gained a win over Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN), 3-2, in a league game.
