North Carolina High School Volleyball - Millennium tips Triad Math and Science Academy

Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC) and the host Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals (Greensboro, NC), saw Millennium's volleyball squad nudge Triad Math and Science Academy by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Millennium improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC) to face the Wolves in a Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A test on Thursday, September 11. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 4-6.

Next, the Bengals meet the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A challenge, on Monday, September 8. Triad Math and Science Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC).
