New Jersey High School Volleyball - Montgomery Rutgers Prep

Rutgers Prep Argonauts (Somerset, NJ) boosters were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Argonauts (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Voorhees (Glen Gardner, NJ). The Vikings enter the Skyland - Delaware West challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Voorhees was defeated by Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ), 2-0, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopewell Valley Central for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. Montgomery will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Delran (Delran, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
