Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Red Lion Lions (Red Lion, PA) and the host New Oxford Colonials (New Oxford, PA), observed Red Lion's volleyball team top New Oxford by a count of 3-0.

The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, PA). The Indians go into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Waynesboro achieved victory over Northern York (Dillsburg, PA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Colonials now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central York for a York Area 1 battle on Monday, September 8.
