The Sumrall Bobcats prevailed the visiting North Pike Jaguars volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Bobcats now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gulfport for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. Sumrall will clash with a Admirals team coming off a 3-0 league loss to D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS). The Admirals record now stands at 11-9.
With the loss, North Pike drops to 7-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars host South Jones (Ellisville, MS) to confront the Braves in a Class 5A Region 3 match on Tuesday, September 9. The Braves enter the match with a record of 8-3.
