With the win, Weldon advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Chargers travel to Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy (Halifax, NC) to play the Trojans in a Roanoke River 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 8-2. Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Warren County (Warrenton, NC)

The Jaguars (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC). The Vikings go into the Roanoke River 1A/2A game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Northwest Halifax gained a win over KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
