In Thursday's non-league match, the Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ) volleyball squad tipped the host Oak Knoll Royals (Summit, NJ), by a final score of 2-1.

Next up, the Indians confront the New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ) in a Union County - Mountain match, on Monday, September 8. Rahway will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Pioneers enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Summit (Summit, NJ).

With the loss, Oak Knoll drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Royals host Cranford (Cranford, NJ) to clash with the Cougars in a Union County - Mountain bout on Monday, September 8. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
