Fans at Thursday's league contest between the St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR) and the host Perrydale Pirates (Amity, OR), observed St. Paul's volleyball team top Perrydale by a count of 3-0.

The Buckaroos (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lewis Academy (Newberg, OR). The Watchmen enter the 1A Casco contest with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Lewis Academy notched a victory over Falls City/Kings Valley Charter (Falls City, OR), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Pirates meet the Elgin Huskies (Elgin, OR) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Perrydale will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Madras (Madras, OR).
