The Pulaski County Maroons volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers to 1 in the Maroons league triumph on Thursday.

The Maroons now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Rockcastle County for a District 47 outing on Tuesday, September 9. Pulaski County will play a Rockets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Rockets record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Somerset drops to 7-1 on the campaign. The Briar jumpers host Trinity Christian Academy (Lexington, KY) to play the Titans in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. The Titans enter the game with a record of 4-1.
