The Randolph County Tigers nudged the host Saks Wildcats volleyball team by a tally of 3-2 in Thursday's league outing.

The Tigers now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Weaver for a non-league outing on Monday, September 8. Randolph County will confront a Bearcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Faith Christian (Anniston, AL). The Bearcats record now stands at 7-3.

The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Donoho (Anniston, AL). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 4-11 record. In their last game, Donoho was edged by Fyffe (Fyffe, AL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
