Fans at Thursday's league contest between the The Gunston School Herons (Centreville, MD) and the host Salisbury Christian (Salisbury, MD), observed The Gunston School's volleyball team hold off Salisbury Christian by a count of 3-2.

The Herons (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Roland Park Country (Baltimore, MD). The Reds enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

Next, the battle the Calvary Christian Academy LIONS (Dover, DE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Salisbury Christian will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
