The Shining Light Academy Knights topped the host True Gospel Christian Grizzly volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Knights confront the Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles (Winston-Salem, NC) in a NCCSA A District 3 - East Region game, on Tuesday, September 9. Shining Light Academy will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record.

With the loss, True Gospel Christian drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Grizzly travel to Calvary Christian (King, NC) to play the Cougar in a NCCSA A District 3 - East Region outing on Monday, September 8. The Cougar come into the outing with a record of 5-0. Calvary Christian won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC)
