The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their game against McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR). The Pioneers go into the 3A/2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, McLoughlin topped Nyssa (Nyssa, OR), 9-5, in a league challenge.

The Prospectors now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Nyssa for a 3A/2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 challenge on Saturday, September 9. Grant Union will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-5 league loss to McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
