The Swain County Maroon Devils volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Cherokee Braves to 1 in the Maroon Devils non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Maroon Devils now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smoky Mountain for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 6. Swain County will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-7.

The Braves (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Highlands (Highlands, NC). The Highlanders enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record.
