The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) and the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), saw East Wilkes's volleyball squad beat South Stokes by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, East Wilkes upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Alleghany (Sparta, NC) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Alleghany won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against North Stokes (Danbury, NC)

The Sauras now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to East Surry for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7.
