The Middle Creek Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Holly Springs Golden Hawks to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cary for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 6. Middle Creek will meet a Imps team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Green Level (Cary, NC). The Imps record now stands at 7-0.

The Golden Hawks (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Athens Drive was nudged by Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
