Next, the Wildcats confront the Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Menifee County will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Jackson City (Jackson, KY).

The Comets now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bath County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. West Carter will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
