Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Warren Warriors (Vincent, OH), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Big Blacks confront the Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Point Pleasant will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH).
The Warriors now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marietta for a Ohio Valley (OVAC) challenge on Tuesday, September 12. Warren will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
