Next, the Trojans confront the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. West Brunswick will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over New Bern (New Bern, NC).

The Stallions now possess a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Bladen for a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, September 6. South Columbus will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
