Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 11. Union will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 6-0 non-league win over East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC).
The Knights now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Columbus for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 7. West Bladen will confront a Gators team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Gators record now stands at 0-2.
