The Wilkes-Barre held off the host Wyoming Area Warriors soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Tuesday's league match.

The now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Crestwood for a Wyoming Valley 1 match on Thursday, September 7. Wilkes-Barre will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA). The Comets record now stands at 1-1.
