The Baldwin Braves softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Westside Seminoles to 9 in the Braves league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Baldwin moves its record to 2-6 on the year. The Braves host Washington County (Sandersville, GA) to play the Golden Hawks in a non-league game on Thursday, September 7. The Golden Hawks come into the game with a record of 10-2. Washington County won 17-14 in their recent non-league game against Dublin (Dublin, GA)

In their next game, the Seminoles play the Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) in a 4A Region 2 game, on Thursday, September 7. Westside will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Bears come into the game with a 7-2 record after their 7-2 league win over Perry (Perry, GA).
