Empire Bulldogs (Duncan, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ringling Blue Devils (Ringling, OK), 12-8 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 17-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Velma-Alma for a Class A challenge on Monday, September 11.

With the loss, Ringling falls to 16-12 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Geronimo (Geronimo, OK) to face the Blue Jays in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 7. The Blue Jays enter the challenge with a record of 14-12. Geronimo won 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Big Pasture (Randlett, OK)
