St. Francis Knights (Alpharetta, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Galloway Scots (Atlanta, GA), 8-4 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berkmar for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 6. St. Francis will face a Patriots squad coming off a 18-3 non-league loss to Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Galloway falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Scots travel to Westlake (Atlanta, GA) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 11. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 2-8. Westlake lost 13-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA)
