Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA), 17-1 in a league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 6. Glascock County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Twiggs County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cobras host Southwest (Macon, GA) to face the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 6. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
