In Tuesday's league contest, the Varnum Whippets (Seminole, OK) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Mason Eagles (Mason, OK), by a margin of 11-4.
With the triumph, Varnum moves its record to 7-16 on the year. The Whippets travel to Moss (Holdenville, OK) to play the Pirates in a Class B contest on Thursday, September 7. The Pirates come into the contest with a record of 21-5.
In their next game, the Eagles play the Maud Tigers (Maud, OK) in a Class B contest, on Tuesday, September 5. Mason will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 14-8 record after their 15-3 non-league win over Agra (Agra, OK).
