The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) and the host Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), saw South Stanly's volleyball squad beat Albemarle by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, South Stanly upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to play the Tigers in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A bout on Thursday, September 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Mount Pleasant lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC)

The Bulldogs now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Union Academy for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A bout on Thursday, September 7. Albemarle will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-4.
