The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the East Limestone Indians (Athens, AL) and the visiting Athens Bible Trojans (Athens, AL), saw East Limestone's volleyball squad nip Athens Bible by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, East Limestone upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Indians travel to Westminster Christian (Huntsville, AL) to play the Wildcats in a 5A Area 16 bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Westminster Christian lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL)

The Trojans now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Oakwood Academy for a 1A Area 15 bout on Thursday, September 7. Athens Bible will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Valley Head (Valley Head, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-1.
