The Autaugaville Eagles held off the visiting Maplesville Red Devils volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notasulga for a 1A Area 7 test on Thursday, September 7.
The Red Devils (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Thorsby (Thorsby, AL). The Rebels enter the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Thorsby was nudged by Westminster School at Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
