South Dakota High School Volleyball - Tripp-Delmont/Armour Avon

The Avon Pirates topped the host Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Pirates now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alcester-Hudson for a B Region 5 test on Thursday, September 7. Avon will face a Cubs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Sioux Falls Lutheran (Sioux Falls, SD). The Cubs record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Tripp-Delmont/Armour moves to 2-1 on the year. The Nighthawks host Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD) to face the Wildkats in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 7. The Wildkats go into the contest with a record of 1-6. Kimball/White Lake lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Burke (Burke, SD)
