Virginia High School Volleyball - Bland County Grayson County

September 5, 2023: Independence, VA 24348

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Grayson County Blue Devils volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Bland County Bears.

The Blue Devils (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers come into the Mountain Empire battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Fort Chiswell lost by Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bears encounter the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) in a Mountain Empire battle, on Thursday, September 7. Bland County will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 5-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA).
